The UNESCO Chair: Women, Peace and Security, University of Macedonia, has the honor to invite you to its International High Level Conference, titled “Contemporary Perspectives on the Implementation of Women, Peace and Security Policy Agenda” between June 20-22, 2019, at the University of Macedonia’s conference and ceremony room. The conference aims to record, evaluate and open the debate in Greece on the implementation of the global policy agenda “Women, Peace and Security”.
The three-day Conference of the Chair will host specialists and experts from international regional organizations, as well as representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations and academics from Greece, Cyprus and the rest of Europe, to document international good practices and possible institutional or bureaucratic difficulties in setting up and implementing action plans.
The conference will be held in English.
