Lesley Abdela
She is a gender equality activist and trainer. In 1980 she founded the 300 Group aiming to increase women’s participation in local, national and European politics in the United Kingdom, and has won the European award “Woman of the United Kingdom” for her work on empowering women in Central and Eastern European countries. She is also a partner of Shevolution, a gender equality consulting firm.

Chara Karagiannopoulou
She is a Lecturer at Panteion University in the field of Political Systems and Diplomacy in South Eastern Europe. She has previously served as a Teaching Fellow at Bielefeld Universitat, Deutschland and is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Equality Research Center. Her research interests include the study of gender in the field of International Relations and the relationship between religion and international politics.
